China’s Alibaba rented data center in Moscow. It will process all it operations of the company in Russia, including stored personal data of Russian users in the execution of the relevant law, told RBC representative of AliExpress in Russia Anton Panteleev.
According to him, the new data center will improve the speed of loading pages marketplaces, AliExpress and Tmall for Russian users by 20%. The center also will serve Ciaonao and logistics business unit of Alibaba.
