British intelligence services fail to guarantee the “unconditional defense” of the state from alleged cyber-attacks, made a Telegraph with a reference to the head of state of cyber security Center (NCSC) Kieran Martin.
As Martin said, England will literally face cyberattacks on the part of the Russian Federation, it remains unknown only when this happens. According to its texts, the Agency’s concern is currently focused on ensuring resistance to cyber attacks of these systems, such as energy systems, water supply, online, transport network and health service.
“Unconditional defense is neither likely nor desirable; it is about the greater resilience of the systems we care about the most, the loss of service of which will have the greatest impact on our type of life,” Martin said.
According to the newspaper, the NCSC has already sent a letter to the government of England containing a list of the necessary actions that departments and officials are required to do to defend against cyberattacks.
Earlier, the official Commissioner of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova said, in fact, that the Capital kindly asks from London to give some information as evidence of accusations of cyberattacks. According to its texts, there is “another provocative and groundless attack” without any attempt to clarify the history in contacts with the Russian side.
